Responsibilities

PEAC Solutions Director of Credit-Working Capital manages and underwrites new business applications accurately and efficiently for working capitals loans to $500,000. The individual will both manage and underwrite all Working Capital exposures; providing assistance to Sales and Operations in closing transactions with non-standard requirements; and ensuring an overall organized, timely and responsive credit management process. The Credit Leader will oversee credit risk evaluation on new loan applications with a ticket size ranging to $500,000 across a wide variety of industries, markets, and customer types by using a combination of commercial credit reports, customer due diligence and preparing the credit approval summary (CAS) forms including financial analysis.

This individual will work independently and will have the ability to work within a team environment, mentoring and co-approval of the Flow Team Credit transactions on exposures under $1,000,000 including equipment finance leases.

Essential Functions
  • Provide strategic leadership for credit risk assessment on transactions up to $1MM across diverse industries.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain credit underwriting standards and risk acceptance criteria for all commercial finance verticals.
  • Formulate and execute credit strategies that optimize portfolio profitability while effectively managing credit risk and ensuring compliance with policy standards.
  • Lead and mentor the Working Capital credit team to achieve service level agreements (SLAs), turnaround time goals, and quality benchmarks.
  • Evaluate and approve complex credit applications, financial analyses, and guarantor assessments to ensure sound lending decisions.
  • Serve as a voting member of the Credit Committee and present detailed credit analyses and performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Recommend credit policy and procedural enhancements in response to portfolio performance, market trends, and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and other internal teams to ensure timely, transparent, and effective credit decisions that support business growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years commercial credit underwriting experience in Working Capital loans.
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Self-motivated and detailed oriented with strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
