Funding Operations Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Funding Operations Manager to manage and execute the full administrative workflow of our Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) deals. This is a crucial, in-office role responsible for ensuring that every aspect of a deal—from contracting and pricing to documentation and collections monitoring—is handled with extreme precision and speed
. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional accuracy, and demonstrate full ownership over the deal lifecycle.
- Deal Administration & Contracting: Accurately edit, finalize, and set up all contracts and funding agreements in our CRM and funding platforms, ensuring correct addendums are included and all contract terms match approved deal guidelines.
- Pricing and Calculations: Perform flawless calculations for pricing, payment schedules, and payback amounts, ensuring zero clerical errors in all financial documentation.
- Stipulation Management: Own the end-to-end process of organizing, tracking, and verifying all required stipulations (e.g., bank statements, IDs), communicating directly and persistently with business owners and brokers to secure missing documents.
- Bank Verifications & Data Extraction: Conduct secure bank logins to verify transactional activity and accurately review and extract cash flow data for use in underwriting and compliance checks.
- Collections Monitoring: Track and review daily bounce reports, monitor overall collection performance, and alert management to issues while coordinating follow-up actions with the collections team or external partners.
- Reporting & Accountability: Prepare accurate weekly collections summaries, maintain updated deal records in the CRM, and provide management with insights on pipeline, funding, and repayment trends.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Merchant Cash Advance, factoring, commercial lending, or other high-volume financial operations is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage documentation-heavy workflows with extreme organizational mastery and reliance on systematic checklists.
- Strong financial literacy, high numerical accuracy, and an absolute commitment to flawless calculations and data entry
. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with CRM and deal management software (MCA-specific systems are a significant plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with merchants, brokers, and internal team members.
