Our client is a dynamic, $100M organization seeking a hands‑on Controller for a high‑impact leadership role with a clear path to Chief Financial Officer. This position is ideal for a strategic yet operationally focused finance leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves when needed.

• Lead financial analysis and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting to support executive decision‑making
• Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements and oversee daily cash flow reporting
• Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, and General Ledger
• Manage a complex multi‑entity accounting structure (seven entities consolidating into Quick Books)
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and quality control of all financial data and reporting
• Direct month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and standards
• Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts; analyze variances and provide actionable insights
• Prepare and manage state sales tax and excise tax filings
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop accounting staff to build a high‑performing team
• Actively support day‑to‑day accounting functions as needed, demonstrating a hands‑on leadership approach

• 5–7+ years of Controller or progressive accounting leadership experience
• Proven expertise in multi‑entity accounting environments
• Extensive experience with Quick Books Enterprise
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
