Location: Lebanon
Population 13,505. Seeking full-time Municipal Clerk, 35 hours per week. Duties include, but not limited to, all the statutory duties pursuant to NJSA 40A:9-133 et. seq., prepare meeting agendas & minutes, processing/noticing ordinances, attend all meetings of the Governing Body, process OPRA requests, administration of elections, records management, process mail daily, serve as Registrar of Vital Statistics, issue licenses and permits, and perform other assigned duties in accordance with state and local laws.
The successful candidate shall be detail-oriented with excellent computer, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, attend night meetings, and provide excellent customer service. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred. RMC certification with a minimum of 3 years municipal/government experience required. Salary range $80,000 - $100,000 and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
New Jersey residency is required. The Township reserves the right to conduct interviews as qualified candidate applications are received. EOE.
