EEG Tech Per Diem​/Mount Holly

Work Schedule:

Weekend call in a rotation required (7:30am to 4:00pm).

The neurology technologist is responsible for providing various adult electroencephalogram studies (routine, sleep deprived, LTM,) as ordered by a physician. This individual (if registered) will provide clinical oversight for non-registered technicians performing EEG procedures. In addition, this individual will act as a super-user/system administrator for the NATUS digital EEG system and long-term EEG monitoring systems.

• Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies.
• Obtains patient history from medical record, documents information in digital EEG system. Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate.
• Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems. Clips long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space.

• Clinical Routine-LTM EEG experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NATUS EEG systems preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC Preferred.

• High school education.
• College education preferred.
• R.EEG.TRegistry exam eligibility via ABRET Pathway required.
• EEG registry required within one year of employment.

• BLS.
• EEG registry required within one year of hire.
