This Billing Specialist position works with TRAC’s in-house chassis tracking system at our corporate headquarters in Princeton, NJ. The role involves analyzing billing and EDI metrics, trends, and anomalies to support billing accuracy and operational efficiencies.
Essential Job Functions- Analyze billing and EDI metrics, trends, and anomalies to identify process improvements and provide actionable intelligence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for billing data and business rule questions.
- Design, create, and deliver billing solutions to promote accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement process improvements to maximize productivity and accuracy.
- Train billing team members on new processes and reports.
- Provide timely management reporting on special projects, testing, and implementations.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement billing solutions.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation or a similar industry.
- Computer systems-oriented, proficient in Excel formulas and macros.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to implement solutions promptly.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with billing test efforts required.
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, and inquisitive.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requires long periods seated at a desk, extensive use of a telephone, computer, and in‑house system applications.
