Location:

North Jersey (Reliable Commute Required) Compensation: $500–$1,000 per day (Per Diem)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Per Diem Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our IONM team in North Jersey. This position offers competitive per diem compensation and the opportunity to work alongside experienced surgical teams in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) during surgical procedures, including spine, neuro, and orthopedic cases

Accurately set up, calibrate, and operate monitoring equipment

Monitor patient neurological data in real time and communicate relevant findings to the surgical team and supervising neurologist

Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all safety and compliance protocols

Requirements:

1+ year of IONM experience preferred (newer techs with strong fundamentals may be considered)

CNIM certification preferred or in-progress

Strong knowledge of neurophysiological modalities including SSEPs, TcMEPs, EMG, and EEG

Must be able to reliably commute daily to hospitals and surgical centers throughout North Jersey

Professionalism, strong communication skills, and ability to function in a high-stakes surgical environment

Flexibility to work early hours, long shifts, or on short notice as needed
