Coordinates care for all Epilepsy patients within the Neurodiagnostic Epilepsy Program, ensuring comprehensive assessment, resource linkage, and seamless progression of care across the health system and community.
Responsibilities- Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination and act as patient advocate for epilepsy patients.
- Build and maintain referral relationships with medical staff and hospital departments.
- Coordinate disease‑specific education and preventive programs.
- Provide initial detailed patient/family needs assessment and ongoing updates.
- Connect patients/families with health system and community resources.
- Track and document patient flow through diagnostic and treatment services.
- Develop performance improvement activities and guidelines with Medical Directors.
- Collaborate with Epileptologist and Neurosurgeon on grid placement for surgical evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- Participate in annual educational programs, CMEs, workshops, and professional development.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Epilepsy/Neurodiagnostics.
- Certificate from a Neurodiagnostic Program or equivalent.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Experience in neuroscience or epilepsy disease‑specific program coordination.
- Neurodiagnostic related education.
- BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
- American Board of Registration for Encephalographic Technologists Certification – R.EEG.
- Certificate in EEG or Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.
Minimum rate: $32.92 per hour. Pay is benchmarked against market data and may vary by experience, education, and location. Full‑time benefits include health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
