Massage Therapist

Location: Clinton

Position Summary

Performs massages of various techniques and time length on members, guests, and/or rehabilitation clientele. Takes into consideration personal feedback and/or medical direction from a physician to ensure a safe procedure and positive outcome for the customer.

Primary Position Responsibilities

• Demonstrates professional knowledge of massage methods and techniques by assessing which type of massage is most beneficial to the customer based on needs identification and/or medical prescription.
• Performs quality massage treatment which results in client satisfaction and positive outcomes.
• Recognizes importance of member retention by generating new ideas to promote massage to clientele.
• Exhibits professional time-management skills to ensure massage schedule is reliable and massage appointments are executed on time to guarantee a seamless flow of appointments.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred: Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training in various massage techniques and/or specialties

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation)

Required: None

Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience

License, Registry or Certification

Required: Massage License
CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or must be completed within 60 days of hire)

Preferred: None
