• Assist licensed opticians with eyewear selection, fittings, and adjustments
• Learn to interpret prescriptions and recommend appropriate lens options
• Support frame styling and ensure patients are satisfied with their eyewear
• Verify and submit insurance information
• Perform basic optical measurements and pre‑testing procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer‑friendly environment
• Learn about lens technologies, coatings, and insurance billing
• Participate in ongoing training and education as part of your apprenticeship

• Current student at or degree from an accredited New Jersey school of opticianry
• Passion for eye care, fashion, and customer service
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and grow within the optical field
• Previous retail, healthcare, or optical experience is a plus, but not required

• On‑the‑job training provided by licensed opticians
