Position: Recreation Aide
Location: Hazlet, NJ
Shift: Part-Time | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, every other weekend
Salary: $15.50/hour
Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a creative, energetic, and compassionate Recreation Aide to help enhance the lives of our residents through meaningful activities and programs. Key Responsibilities- Lead small and large group recreational activities, including cognitive, physical, and social programs.
- Assist with planning and executing monthly events, holidays, and special celebrations.
- Tailor activities to residents’ individual interests and abilities.
- Ensure residents’ safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative with a passion for working with older adults.
- Experience working with a geriatric or adult population is preferred.
- Compassionate, outgoing, and team-oriented personality.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
