Massage Therapist Position Summary

Award winning and luxury location, Zanya Spa Salon is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our team of talented professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality massage therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of our elite clientele. Candidates will need to be able to evaluate guests' conditions and provide appropriate massage and body treatment services to relieve tension, improve circulation and promote overall health, well-being and relaxation.

• Conduct guests’ assessments to understand their health history, individual preferences with services, and overall specific needs.
• Develop customized massage plans based on individual needs/physical conditions.
• Perform various types of massages and body treatments, such as Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone etc.
• Use appropriate pressure and techniques to ensure guests comfort and effective treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of our treatment room at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and guest progress in compliance with internal standards.
• Stay to date with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Promote services and encourage repeat business through excellent guest service and relationship building.
• Excellent work ethic and passion for the industry.

• Valid New Jersey Massage Therapist license. (LMT)
• Knowledge of anatomy and various massage techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, luxury environment, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays & some evenings.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions and stay on our feet for extended periods.
• Capability to move guests safely as needed.
