Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a fulfillment/mail-order environment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for prescription verification, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and oversight of pharmacy technicians while ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions and prescription data for accuracy.
- Perform final quality checks before medications are packaged and shipped.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and inventory personnel.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Prioritize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work within a standing/walking environment for the majority of the shift.
- Utilize pharmacy systems, robotic automation, and technology effectively.
- Lift up to 25 lbs as required.
- Active Pharmacist License in good standing in both New Jersey (NJ) and New York (NY).
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows-based applications.
- Strong computer navigation and documentation skills.
- Ability to work designated shifts and flexible hours as needed.
