Preferred Companion Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality non-medical care to clients in their homes throughout Northern New Jersey
.

We are looking for caregivers who take pride in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem
Location: Northern New Jersey
Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Personal care and hygiene assistance

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Toileting and incontinence care

• Meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Medication reminders, as permitted

• Assist with ambulation and transfers

• Provide companionship and supervision

• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed

• Observe and report changes in the client's condition

• Follow the client's care plan and agency policies

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and clean environment

• Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) certification

• Previous homecare experience preferred

• Reliable transportation is a plus

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

• Dependable, punctual, and professional

• Ability to work independently in a client's home

• Must be able to pass required background and employment screenings
