The Lambertville Station Inn
, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Front Desk Agent position. Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
- Greets guests, check guests in and out of their rooms.
- Ensures that every guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel.
- Answer guest inquires including recommending activities and restaurants.
- Maintain safety of guest’s luggage when houseman is not available.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Manage updated records of bookings and payments.
- Obtain guests contact details and stay dates.
- Process all payments and verify credit card data.
- Provide information about hotel, available rooms, rates, amenities, and payment options.
- Responds to guests complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
- Must possess computer literacy.
- Must possess a professional, polished image through in-person and phone interaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well developed and multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and keep strictly confidential.
- Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
- The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus.
- The noise level in this office is usually mild to moderate.
- High school diploma and or equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required.
