The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department's operations by assisting with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and record-keeping. The HR Coordinator acts as a resource for employees, providing information and support related to HR policies, procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for payroll processing, including data entry, report generation, timesheet adjustments
  • Answering employee questions, addressing concerns, and providing general HR support.
  • Assisting with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, and providing information to employees about benefits.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data.
  • Ensuring HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Providing general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, managing files, and preparing reports.
  • Assist with the onboarding process; process I-9 documents and new hire paperwork, and ensure all necessary documents are processed and entered into the HRIS system accurately.
  • Manage temp requests including liaising with staffing agencies, handling timecards, invoices, requests, and cancellations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred, not required
  • 1+ years of direct or related experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English are required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
