Client OverviewOur client is a large organization with a significant employee base, seeking a skilled Payroll Associate to manage accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with internal controls and applicable regulations.
Salary/Hourly Rate$30‑hr
Position OverviewAs the Payroll Associate, you will be responsible for processing payroll for employees. You will ensure compliance with all relevant internal controls, federal, state, and local regulations, and time reporting policies while maintaining confidentiality and meeting strict deadlines.
Responsibilities- Process weekly, biweekly, semi‑monthly, and monthly payrolls using payroll systems.
- Maintain and review time and attendance records, deductions, and compensation changes.
- Prepare payroll‑related reports and support month‑end payroll reconciliations.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and assist with audits or reporting requests.
- Support HR with accurate employee data and payroll‑related tasks.
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll principles, compliance, and reporting.
- Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and E‑Time.
- Payroll certification (FPC or CPP) is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field is preferred.
