Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with a strong knowledge of payroll functions to work at our headquarters in Long Valley, NJ. The position will have responsibility for bi-weekly/weekly payrolls for both hourly and salaried employees.
This position is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday.

RESPOSIBILITIES
  • Process bi-weekly and weekly payrolls in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Accurately set up and maintain all personnel files in database.
  • Process garnishments and all other payroll deductions.
  • Assist with year-end payroll close and review of W-2s.
  • Produce miscellaneous ad-hoc reports using ADP and excel.
  • Coordinate with finance associates on Tax and other Payroll related inquiries.
  • Develop benefits information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers and management.
  • Assure company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Affordable Care Act. Supervise preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by Management.
REQUIREMENTS
  • BS Degree with a major in Accounting.
  • 3 years of payroll processing experience using ADP’s Workforce Now a must.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws, payroll processing, tax principles, and wage & hour laws.
  • Experience working in both corporate and manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Payroll best practices, standard concepts, policies and procedures.
  • Experience with basic pay practices for multiple states.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Maintain high standards of integrity.
  • Display excellence in customer service.
