Senior Network Engineer

Position Summary

• Responsibilities include providing local and wide area network support and wireless network support. Installation and maintenance of network infrastructure and associated hardware and software. Senior-level network design and support responsibilities. This position is also responsible for implementation and support of network security technology. The role provides 2nd level support to network engineers and handles advanced network issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education
• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Computer Science, Certificate, and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training.
• Minimum Years of Experience
• Required: 5 years of related experience.
• Preferred: 5-10 or more years of related experience.
• License, Registry or Certification
• Required: None.
• Preferred: Network+, CCNA.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Required: Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred: Familiarity with OSI model, especially related to client/server troubleshooting.
