Position Summary

Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Classified Cyber Security organization seeks a Classified Cyber Security Associate Manager / Alternate Information Systems Security Manager (AISSM) to deliver automated, sustainable, and consistent cyber products and services for the RMS Line of Business. The incumbent will lead a team that secures and fields specialized tools to support governance, risk management, and compliance of classified systems and infrastructure.

Must be a U.S. citizen with a Minimum Final Secret security clearance. The role focuses on protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified assets while driving advanced risk‑governance operations and implementing proactive, automation‑enabled security methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attract, retain, and develop cyber talent to ensure a skilled and effective classified cyber security team.
  • Provide at least 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Oversee planning, implementation, testing, and monitoring of classified cyber‑security measures.
  • Assess and mitigate classified system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
  • Validate classified system security requirements and lead teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments.
  • Direct the development and maintenance of technical system security documentation, producing high‑quality and compliant documents.
  • Execute security hardening on Windows and RHEL operating systems based on approved DISA STIGs.
  • Implement NIST SP 800‑53 security controls to ensure compliance with industry standards (Windows, Linux, Network, etc).
  • Coordinate with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure systems are secure and compliant.
Basic Qualifications
  • Demonstrable expertise motivating, influencing, and managing cybersecurity personnel.
  • Proven experience at SME level with authorization package submission tools (e.g., eMASS) that leads to successful Authorizations to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC).
  • Drive the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, collaborate with government authorities (e.g., DCSA), and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments in accordance with the DCSA Assessment & Authorization Guide (DAAG) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, high‑tempo environment.
  • Implement information assurance and cybersecurity standards, directives, and policies (e.g., NIST) within classified, risk‑based frameworks.
Desired Skills
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT/M or IASAE Level‑III Certification, such as CISM, CISSP, CISSP‑ISSAP, CISSP‑ISSEP, or CCISO.
  • Experience leading teams in a hybrid work environment.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information system security strategy, ensuring all components and processes are properly secured, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct internal and external customer assessments, including:
    • Identifying areas for improvement
    • Providing recommendations for remediation
    • Developing and implementing corrective action plans
  • Evaluate proposed changes or additions to the information system, including:
    • Assessing their security relevance
    • Providing advisory support to the ISSM
    • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Implement new and complex technologies at an enterprise level, ensuring:
    • Seamless integration with existing systems
    • Minimizing disruption to operations
    • Providing training and support to users

Work Schedule & Telework

Part‑time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedule:

4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Compensation & Benefits
