Responsibilities- Participate in the governance of the client IT portfolio management practices for business‑area IT investments.
- Drive co‑innovation, discovery, and business‑case development for technology‑enabled projects that deliver business value.
- Support business areas in developing business cases and collaborate with the IT technical and application teams to identify products and services that meet their needs.
- Partner strategically with business areas to understand business‑unit strategies and challenges.
- Advise business product and service managers on strategic needs to guide prioritization and technical road‑mapping solutions through the Change Advisory Board (CAB) with business, IT and PMO membership.
- Build trusted relationships with business and technology partners through regular updates and demonstrated understanding of their strategies, goals and challenges.
- Effectively manage the relationship between IT and business functions, fostering a collaborative environment for IT and business integration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze current business and IT workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements using data‑driven insights to enhance operational effectiveness, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Identify and champion emerging technologies that align with business goals, facilitate cross‑functional collaboration, and pilot new concepts to deliver competitive advantages.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required; graduate degree in Business, Information Systems or a related discipline preferred.
- 10+ years in IT project management, application development, business analysis, enterprise architecture.
- 8 years working in an enterprise‑level business and technical environment.
- 5–10 years as an IT Project Manager in a matrix environment, working with clients and third parties (internal or external).
- 5–10 years in IT application development, business analysis, and experience working with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and/or quality assurance.
- Strong portfolio and project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in organizing and initiating, planning, and executing large‑scale projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation, involving internal cross‑functional teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Expertise in estimating, forecasting, financial management and business‑case development; as well as collaborating, negotiating, presenting to leadership stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen to develop strategy, process capabilities, enabling technologies, and associated investment governance.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, leveraging appropriate tools to engage across all organizational levels.
- Collaborative team player with ability to engage at all levels of the organization and influence others to move toward consensus.
- Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.
- Experience and knowledge in utility, pipeline, energy generation (Wind, Solar), energy trading, work‑management a plus.

Compensation:
Expected base pay range $115,900 – $147,700. Candidates will be eligible to participate in an annual short‑term incentive program.
