Senior Solution Architect (Montvale, NJ – Hybrid)

Up to $190,000, commensurate with experience

Overview

Our client is hiring a Senior Solution Architect to define architecture, design integrations, and guide full-stack development across multiple platforms for this growing 200 employee healthcare company. This role blends technical depth with communication and leadership—turning complex architecture into clear, actionable solutions. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient systems.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and solution design across web, data, and integration layers.

• Lead front-end and full-stack delivery using React/Next.js, modern JavaScript, and back-end services (Node.js, .NET, or Java).

• Architect and implement headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, or AEM Headless), including content models, APIs, and delivery workflows.

• Integrate CRM (Salesforce), CMS, and analytics systems into a unified, scalable platform.

• Translate complex architecture into clear, business-aligned plans and communicate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance to distributed and offshore teams, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.

• Uphold coding, security, and testing standards while driving consistency across teams.

• Collaborate with leadership to ensure architectural decisions align with broader business goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including at least 3–5 years in solution or application architecture.

• Hands-on expertise in front-end development (React, Next.js, Type Script, modern JavaScript frameworks).

• Experience building or integrating headless CMS systems such as Contentful, Sanity, or AEM Headless.

• Proven success designing and integrating enterprise systems, particularly CRM (Salesforce), CMS, and analytics platforms.

• Full-stack experience with Node.js, .NET, or Java, plus API design and data modeling.

• Demonstrated ability to lead distributed/offshore teams through design and delivery phases.

• Strong communication and listening skills—able to understand context quickly, engage respectfully, and collaborate effectively.

• Comfortable explaining architecture to business and product stakeholders in straightforward, outcome-based terms.
