Job Overview

The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for providing staff education on IT applications, including Epic electronic health record software. Education will be delivered virtually and in classroom settings. Credentialed Trainers provide customer support, answer customer hotlines, assist with development of training materials, and escalate issues as needed. This position requires a commitment to work full time alongside training and other operational and IT professionals.

Responsibilities

/ Job Specific Requirements
  • Classroom and virtual training of end users on Epic and IT applications
  • Workflow analysis and curriculum design and development
  • Identify end users’ roles and headcount requiring training on applicable applications
  • Review and become well versed in available E Learning tools
  • Deliver end user training and provide end user support
  • Track and report training statistics (attendance, competency, success rate, etc.)
  • Coordinate training delivery logistics (printing materials, room setup, equipment, post-training cleanup)
  • Communicate changes and enhancements of Epic and IT applications to end users
  • Lead ongoing training and act as primary training support for Epic and IT applications
  • Provide one-on-one or remedial training as needed
  • Attend go-live triage meetings to gather and facilitate end user feedback
  • Be flexible with schedule and accessibility during training delivery and go-live
  • Provide go-live support for users on new applications, including functionality
  • Provide on-call support for applications through go-live and post go-live
Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate degree
  • Three or more years of related work experience with one year of Epic EHR experience
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and MS Office Suite
  • Experience training up to 50 classes in a business or healthcare setting

  • Bachelor's Degree
