Job Title: IT Program Manager (M&A/Divestiture Specialist)

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Location: Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 (50% Onsite)

Pay Rate Range: $110.00 — 123.29/hr on W2

  • Position Overview

    The Program Manager — Business Capability Lead is responsible for driving the successful execution of complex, high-impact programs and associated projects that advance the digital capability (DC) objectives of their Business Unit or functional group. This leadership role ensures the delivery of incremental value, fosters innovation, and maximizes return on investment through strategic oversight, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Seeking Program Managers with 6+ years of Divestiture experience managing multiple concurrent IT work streams to achieve both Day 1 (day of close) and transition period (usually 12-18 months) deliverables.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Gather, document, and organize requirements for IT deliverables supporting separation of Client systems, including (but not limited to) Network, Hosting, End User Devices, Cybersecurity, Support Services, Identity & Access Management
    • Create and maintain required project artifacts including RACI, Communication Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Charter, etc.
    • In collaboration with technical functional leads, facilitate development of task plans for each workstream, leveraging MS Project
    • Schedule and facilitate recurring status and Steering Committee meetings as determined by stakeholders
    • Maintain RAID log, with mitigation plans for risks. Escalate RAID items when necessary
    • Produce status reports on a cycle to be determined
    Qualifications
    • 6+ years of experience managing IT deliverables for Divestiture programs, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
    • Experience interacting with senior IT staff to provide key updates, and to escalated risks and issues when needed
    • Experience building task schedules with MS Project, including identification of critical path deliverables leveraging strict predecessor/successor task dependencies
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, escalating when necessary
    • Experience managing as many as 40-50 individual roles (not always concurrently) in a heavily matrixed organization to achieve program objectives
    • Demonstrated experience managing and resolving conflict
    • Demonstrated self-motivation
    • Preferable experience in leveraging AI to support program processes and deliverables
    • Proficiency in meeting preparation and facilitation to keep participants focused on agenda
    • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Teams, Copilot, Excel, Word, MS Project, SharePoint)
    • Proven experience leading large-scale, complex programs and cross-functional teams in a digital or IT environment.
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (SDLC, PMF) and governance practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendors and large budgets.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in financial management, business case development, and continuous process improvement.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. PMP certification is preferred.
