Workday Finance Systems, Senior Manager – BAYADA Home Health Care

Location:

Remote or at our Pennsauken, NJ Global Support Center. Occasional travel required for team meetings, trainings, and conferences.

We are seeking a Senior Manager for Workday Finance Systems. The Senior Manager is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise and owns the finance modules of the Workday platform, including Accounts Payable (AP), Expenses, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Consolidation. Leveraging a deep understanding of Workday’s architecture and financial processes, the Senior Manager will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize and enhance the Workday Financial Management system to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • System Configuration and Customization
    • Configure and customize Workday Financials modules to align with business requirements, including AP processes, expense policies, accounting rules, financial reporting structures, inventory management workflows, procurement processes, and consolidation methodologies.
    • Develop and implement custom solutions within Workday (reports, dashboards, calculated fields, integrations, business process configurations) to capture data and automate financial workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Integration and Data Management
    • Manage integrations between Workday Financials and other internal and external systems to ensure seamless data exchange and integrity.
    • Monitor data migration and conversion activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
    • Lead testing efforts for configurations and customizations, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address issues or defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support and Maintenance
    • Provide expert support to end users on Workday Financials functionality, troubleshooting issues and responding to inquiries.
    • Proactively monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.
    • Support feature releases and security maintenance, defining roles, access controls, and permission sets.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
    • Conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions and training workshops on best practices.
    • Engage with the Workday user community, recommend system enhancements, and align technology with business goals.
  • Demonstrate performance excellence, core values of BAYADA, and maintain business knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Workday Financials certification(s) preferred.
  • Four‑year college degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
  • Five or more years of hands‑on experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Workday Financials modules.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles; ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, EIBs, Core Connectors, and other development tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts.
  • Proven ability to perform at a high level within finance organizations.
  • Acceptable pre‑employment assessment results.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Competitive Pay
  • Base Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year (depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity).
  • Bonus opportunity up to 12%.
