Senior D365 Field Service Functional Consultant
Our client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior D365 Field Service Functional Consultant for their Parsippany, NJ location.
Responsibilities:
- Own functional design, process discovery, fit-gap analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria and solution validation.
- Provide hands-on expertise across work orders, incident types, resources, scheduling, inspections, mobile, security and workflows.
- Drive a standard-first approach and challenge unnecessary customization.
- Configure, validate and troubleshoot Dynamics functionality across development, test, UAT and production.
- Ensure integration with mobile solutions, integration services, transportation systems, data platforms and other applications.
- Lead readiness for SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare and support multi-site rollout and transition to operations.
Requirements:
- Hands on Experience on the D365 Field Service Modules
- Hands on experience on the D365 Sales and marketing Application
- Logistics, transportation, terminal, warehouse, manufacturing or field operations.
- Global or multi-site deployments and Field Service Mobile/offline scenarios.
- 7+ years of Dynamics 365 functional consulting with hands-on CE and Field Service expertise.
- Deep knowledge of Field Service work orders, scheduling, inspections, mobile, security, workflows and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience with Dynamics integrations and the full lifecycle from design through production support.
- Strong functional troubleshooting and ability to work directly with operational and technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on functional expertise; this is not primarily a requirement-coordination or project-management role
