Position SummaryThe Manager of Training & Education plays a pivotal role in developing, executing, and continuously improving training programs related to clinical systems. The role ensures training initiatives are comprehensive, user-focused, and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. This manager leads efforts in creating educational resources, assessing training effectiveness, and supporting end‑user adoption of clinical systems. The position requires on‑call and on‑site presence during go‑lives, rounding activities, and meetings as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree required (or four additional years of experience).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Minimum 3 years training, education, and end‑user support experience plus 3 years clinical experience (or 7 years in lieu of degree).
- Demonstrated ability to assess training needs, adapt programs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer application experience preferred.
- Develop and manage strategic training programs tailored to IT systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enhancing end‑user proficiency.
- Oversee creation of advanced educational materials, including manuals, e‑learning modules, and interactive tools.
- Evaluate and adapt training programs based on user feedback, evolving needs, and technological advancements.
- Utilize performance metrics and user data to drive continuous improvement and refine training approaches.
- Lead hands‑on support and troubleshooting for complex issues to improve system adoption.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve user challenges promptly.
- Implement strategies to promote user adoption and best practices.
- Act as a change leader and advocate for technology integration.
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
- Make data‑driven recommendations for improvements and adjustments.
- Work closely with senior clinical leaders to identify knowledge gaps.
- Ensure resources are accessible and well‑communicated to stakeholders.
- Exhibit Atlanti Care values and adhere to policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Potential exposure to hazards in a hospital setting including infectious disease and hazardous substances. Requires balancing, finger/hand dexterity, reaching, reading, driving, speaking, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Uses computers, fax, copier, and telephone.
