Join a leading manufacturing organization as a Safety Manager where you'll be the cornerstone of workplace safety excellence. This critical role empowers you to protect lives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety across all operations. You'll lead comprehensive safety programs while making a direct impact on employee wellbeing and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and review regulatory programs including OSHA compliance
- Oversee Workers Compensation case management and financial forecasting
- Conduct hazard identification training and plant safety audits
- Manage safety budget including PPE, supplies, and medical first aid Prepare weekly and monthly safety reporting and metrics
- Provide Medical First Responder services and incident investigation
- Lead Management of Change safety reviews
- Assign, track, and report all regulatory and safety training programs
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years safety management experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA Regulations, ANSI Standards, and NFPA Standards
- Understanding of Workers Compensation Laws and Hazard Recognition
- First Aid, AED, and CPR certification and experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
