Malas Development is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale multifamily and mixed‑use projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Teaneck, NJ, ideal for a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is ready to take full ownership of the construction process. The Project Manager will work directly with ownership and be a key driver of project success, from scheduling and subcontractor management to buyouts and budget tracking.

• Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Oversee all subcontractor and vendor relationships from RFP through project closeout.
• Track and manage budgets, cost codes, and change orders in Excel and Procore.
• Conduct weekly coordination meetings to maintain accountability and momentum.
• Review and process submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with construction documents, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Drive project closeout, including punchlists, warranty documents, and O&M manuals.
• Mentor field staff and promote a strong culture of teamwork, ownership, and safety.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in multifamily or commercial construction (8+ preferred).
• Proven experience completing at least one large‑scale wood‑framed multifamily project.
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and interpreting construction documents.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, accountable, and solutions‑oriented.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred (not required).
