Position Overview

Join Back to Nature Home and Garden as an in‑field Maintenance Production Manager and help transform high‑end residential properties into extraordinary outdoor spaces. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee daily field operations and ensure maintenance crews consistently meet our quality, safety, and performance standards. Success in this role depends on strong cross‑team collaboration. You will work closely with departments such as Design and Construction to manage seamless project hand‑offs—particularly post‑installation—ensuring the maintenance team is fully prepared to uphold the design intent and client expectations.

This role requires hands‑on coordination of labor and equipment, training and mentoring team members, conducting site visits, resolving issues proactively, and maintaining strong client and employee relationships.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Procure and coordinate materials, labor, and equipment for maximum efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and budget standards.
  • Instruct daily activities and productivity of maintenance crews.
  • Ensure proper execution of company policies, procedures, and work standards across all job sites.
  • Provide clear daily instructions and schedules to crew leaders.
  • Review and verify job reports for accuracy.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records of crew members and jobsite assignments.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs with Account Managers to ensure work meets expectations and highlight enhancement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot irrigation issues and resolve customer service concerns effectively.
  • Prepare and implement best practices for the maintenance and care of landscape installations.
  • Assist in the development of new techniques and procedures to improve field efficiency and overall service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years experience managing field crews in landscape maintenance.
  • Turf care and mound management of multiple crews is strongly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of plant identification, pruning, irrigation systems, and equipment operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
    Aspire software experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Smart Irrigation Systems (Hydrawise preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Full time, salaried position.
