Role Overview
Our client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking a CNC Machinist Mill III to join their team! This is a direct hire, full‑time position in a well‑established leading manufacturing company. Working Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with frequent overtime on Saturdays.
PayBase pay range: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour, based on experience.
Job Duties- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences.
- Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare and operate CNC and conventional machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) for drilling, milling, turning, and boring.
- Tooling & Process Control: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments; follow SOPs to maintain close tolerances.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Workplace Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
- 10+ years of machining experience in a CNC‑focused role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, hand‑eye coordination, and physical stamina.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and dimensional tolerancing.
- Familiarity with CNC programming concepts and manual hand tools.
- Knowledge of raw material defects, quality standards, and non‑conformance procedures.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook).
- High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent education.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Experience operating overhead and jib cranes.
- Familiarity with forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts.
