Control Associates is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler/Welder to join our manufacturing team in Bloomingdale, NJ. • Read and interpret complex P& to fabricate industrial control panels and electrical panels with precision.
• Fabricate piping racks and skids for critical industrial applications.
• Assemble systems using stainless steel tubing (.035–.049 wall thickness).
• Work with PVC Schedule 80 and CPVC materials.
• Perform TIG root welding when required (approximately 20% of role).
• Assemble components using Schedule 10 through Schedule 160 pipe wall thicknesses.
• Apply compression fittings with precision and expertise.

• 3+ years of experience assembling industrial control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret complex P& with accuracy.
• Expert‑level proficiency with hand tools for precision assembly.
• Experience working with stainless steel panels, PVC, and CPVC.
• Capable of lifting to 65 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday, including 30% of day standing.
• Short learning curve – you quickly grasp processes, deliverables, and assembly pace.
• Background in Construction, Mechanics, Fluid Handling, and/or Pneumatics (preferred).
