GGB is located in Thorofare, New Jersey. We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join the GGB Team!

Pay Rate: $40.82 per hour plus $2.07 for shift differential.

Shift

Hours:

Monday through Friday 3:30pm - 11:40pm.

Overtime is required based on business need.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Able to operate manual mills and manual lathes
  • Operate CNC mills and lathes (into to CNC programming)
  • Able to identify the proper cutting tools for high speed steel material & processes
  • Understanding of punch and die operation
  • Understand how to run machine shop equipment (sanders, grinders, etc.)
  • Proficiency in cutting tool geometry
  • Machine tolerances of .0002
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Understand the process of setting up die components, follow procedures and troubleshoot existing dies
  • Able to utilize basic measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Able to operate standards in safety
  • Support team members in their internal & external activities with other processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Former formal training for a vocational or craft (vocational school, certificate, etc.) or 2+ years of experience working in a machine shop.
