Forklift Operator – Block Manufacturing Plant

Base pay: $23.00/hr – $23.00/hr

• Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts throughout our facilities
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set by the company
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
• Unload inbound material, inspect for damage and compare to packing lists
• Label and stage material for QA sampling and storage put away
• Inspect and perform forklift checklist for required equipment
• Help identify safety hazards in the workplace
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming finished goods

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year experience operating a forklift
• Forklift certified or ability to become forklift certified by Chelten House
• Capable of safely operating a forklift in shared forklift‑pedestrian work areas
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to complete neat and accurate paperwork
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (anything above 50 lbs requires team lift and/or equipment)
