Sanitation Cleaner
Responsibilities:
Ensure the overall sanitation of equipment used to process protein productsClean and inspect the equipment to ensure it meets USDA standardsProvide professional service in a fast-paced environmentReport food safety and quality issues to Sanitation and Plant management and SQFPPossess a thorough knowledge and understanding of cleaning and sanitation proceduresCarry out all QC/QA directives as they pertain to plant cleaning and sanitation as communicated by the Sanitation SupervisorEnsure cleanliness of all production machinery and facility areasExecute cleaning and sanitation procedures according to Good Manufacturing PracticesMaintain a safe work environmentEnsure proper ventilation and personal protective equipment is used as required when cleaning equipmentEnsure sanitation schedule is kept up to dateEnsure trash and cardboard are emptied and maintained throughout the shiftRemove empty pallets from all areas as needed and transport to the shipping area; ensure pallets are stacked neatly and safelyBe aware that weekends must be at flexible hours and can be mandatory to work if neededPerform additional duties as assigned by management, within scope and abilityRequirements:
