We are a well‑established, high‑production granite and marble fabrication shop seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support daily fabrication operations. This role is critical to maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and throughput in a fast‑paced stone environment. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience programming stone CNC machinery, understands slab layout and material optimization, and can work closely with shop management and templating teams.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Program and optimize CNC toolpaths using Easy Stone and Alphacam
- Program and operate CMS Speed CNC, Park Industries Saw Jet
- Manage and coordinate job flow using Slabsmith
- Interpret digital templates and shop drawings
- Optimize slab yield and reduce material waste
- Troubleshoot programming or machining issues
- Work closely with saw operators, polishers, and installers to ensure accuracy
- Maintain consistent quality standards and production timelines
- 3‑5+ years CNC programming experience in stone fabrication
- Strong working knowledge of Easy Stone, Alphacam, Slabsmith, CMS and Park Industries equipment
- Deep understanding of granite, marble, quartz, and natural stone properties, vein matching, sink cutouts, edge profiles, and lamination
- Ability to work independently in a high‑volume shop
- Strong attention to detail and production efficiency
- Experience in a busy counter top production environment
- Familiarity with both residential and commercial projects
- Ability to assist with process improvements and workflow optimization
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus, but not required
