Quality & Safety Manager

Schutz Container Systems is a global packaging/manufacturing company located in North Branch NJ, that is currently in need of an experienced Quality/Safety Manager for our Steel plant.

Job Duties:

This position is responsible for the quality and safety programs at the plant.

Conducting informal on-the-job training as well as classroom trainings with employees

Maintain the training matrix ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood and carried out participating in and preparing for internal and external audits preparing reports, records, and other required documents and paperwork investigating and responding to customer complaints and accidents.other duties as assigned

Must have at least 2 years of related QA/QC, safety, and experience in a high-producing/high-quality manufacturing environment. Plastics manufacturing experience a plus.

Knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety procedures.

Must have excellent leadership and communication skills (Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups.)Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
