Summary

Performs a variety of functions such as compounding flavors, making solutions, sampling, packaging and shipping flavors and finished products

• Performs the duties and responsibilities of the Laboratory Assistant
• Performs precise compounding of flavors
• Completes packaging and shipping of both Hazmat and Non-Regulated flavors and finished products
• Confirms the integrity of raw materials before using
• Performs organoleptic and visual tests of finished flavors before using
• Works in collaboration with other departments (Sales Service, Regulatory, R&D Labs, production) regarding requests and/or shipments
• Performs general lab maintenance daily
• Performs raw material and finished flavor maintenance including the data entry, break down, and stocking of inventory
• Performs the duties and responsibilities of the Laboratory Assistant when needed
• Adhere to Sample Lab GMP’s SOP’s and safety procedures at all times
• Wears appropriate PPE
• Commitment to Robertet and SQF Quality Standards and continuous improvement of the quality management systems.

Position Requirements

• Required:
  • High School Diploma
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic math skills
  • Hazmat Certified
• Preferred:
  • 1-year lab experience
  • Oracle experience
• Action Oriented
• Nimble learning
• Organizational Savvy
• Interpersonal Savvy
• Inside lab environment with mild noise.
• Mild odor from chemicals

Physical Demands

• Occasionally Lift up to 50 lbs
• Mostly standing
