Haddon Heights Baptist Church (https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor.

Haddon Heights Baptist (HHBC), a Regular Baptist church in suburban Philadelphia, is a multi-generational, gospel-centered congregation that has been serving the Lord for over 120 years. With a deep-seated tradition of involvement in worldwide missions, we also have a strong desire to reach out to our local community.

To fill the role of Senior Pastor, HHBC is seeking a man who is passionate about God’s Word and has a real heart for His people. He should have a respect for our congregation’s past and present, as well as a vision for helping us move forward into the future.

Most importantly, any candidate for the position of senior pastor should meet the requirements established in 1 Timothy 3:1-5 and Titus 1:5-9. In addition, he should either be an ordained Baptist minister or be willing to undergo said ordination.

• Preaching God’s Word faithfully on a regular basis and administering the ordinances.
• Demonstrating godly character as an example to the church body and the surrounding community.
• Overseeing the leadership and mission of the local church. This includes supervising the planning and implementation of weekly church services.
• Conducting the entire church program in collaboration with the board of deacons.
• Organizing, directing, and supervising all church staff members in their daily responsibilities.
• Meeting regularly with various church committees, ministry leaders, and school administration.
• Moderating church business meetings and deacons’ meetings if he elects to do so.
• Serving as a non-voting, ex-officio member of the board of deacons and all church committees.
• Fulfilling all other responsibilities common to the office of pastor.

The compensation range is between 40K and 60K, depending on years in the ministry and level of education, plus a parsonage, FICA, retirement contribution, health insurance, life and disability insurance and workers comp.
