Employment Training Specialist (Per-Diem)

Salary: Starting at $20.50 and increases with education/experience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify the individual's interests to facilitate a job/career of choice.
• Use functional community-based assessments to identify individual skills and talents.
• Identify and negotiate customized jobs for individuals with disabilities.
• Identify workplace supports to assist individuals with disabilities in becoming employed and/or maintaining employment.
• Address employer concerns while maintaining confidentiality of job seekers.
• Use data collection techniques to document effectiveness of workplace supports and guide fading from the job site.
• Provide or facilitate on- and off-job supports to increase Blossom success.
• Collect and analyze performance data to assist with decision-making regarding effectiveness of workplace supports.
• Identify and develop natural supports in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Empathetic and team-oriented approach to caring for individuals.
