Recreation Lead

The Program & Activity Coordinator for Children, Youth & Families is a full-time, on-site role based in Litchfield, CT. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating age-appropriate programs, activities, and events for children and young people, as well as family-focused initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include developing program schedules, coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and leading activities that promote social connection, learning, and healthy development.

The Coordinator will collaborate with community partners, schools, and families to identify needs and opportunities, support outreach and promotion, and ensure programs are accessible and inclusive. Additional responsibilities may include supervising volunteers, tracking participation and feedback, and assisting with grant-related reporting or fundraising events that benefit youth and family programs.
