Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care

REGISTERED NURSE – INTERMEDIATE CARE – F/T DAYS

Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care in an intermediate‑care setting. You will provide patient‑ and family‑centered care, collaborate across disciplines, and apply the latest clinical and technology standards to ensure safe and individualized treatment.

• Deliver nursing practices in line with current evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other members of the health‑care team regarding patient status, care planning, and treatment updates.
• Administer medications using advanced bar‑scanning and documentation technologies to ensure accurate and safe delivery.
• Complete point‑of‑care electronic documentation for each patient’s assessment, plan of care, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide patient and family education focused on health optimization, wellness, and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions and continuum of care.

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of nursing experience, or active participation in the HMH Nurse Residency Program.
• BSN strongly preferred; must obtain within three (3) years of hire if not already held.
• Telemetry Certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and maintain accountability for improving patient outcomes.
• Strong teamwork skills, dedication to ongoing education, and a patient‑focused mindset are essential.

Starting at $44.24 hourly. Compensation may vary based on market, experience, education, certifications, skills, location, internal equity, and budget constraints.
