Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) is a nationally recognized pediatric specialty care center for medically fragile children/adolescents/young adults that offers 119 in‑patient beds and the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF continues to be recognized as a leader in pediatric healthcare, and in 2013 VPF received the highest accreditation awarded by The Joint Commission. In addition, VPF has expanded to include The Bancroft School at Voorhees Pediatric Facility, Voorhees Pediatric Facility Medical Daycare, and Voorhees Pediatric Rehabilitation Services (VPRS).

Location: The Bancroft School in Voorhees Pediatric Facility

Hours: Full-time (7:30 am - 3:30 pm), benefit eligible

The Nurse Manager assumes accountability and responsibility for the operations of nursing staff in the Bancroft School; in concert with the Bancroft leadership team. This includes planning, development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the clinical, personnel, and administrative activities. This is a 5‑day a week position Monday through Friday. Participates in operationalizing the strategic and business plans and the Our VPF initiatives as well as the Bancroft School.

This includes: human resource management, cost control, quality and safety (High Reliability Organization/Just Culture), growth and customer service (family/person centered care).

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current NJ RN licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, NJ Department of Education certification as a School Nurse (non‑instructional or instructional)
• Minimum three years pediatric nursing experience
• Ability to communicate effectively
