RN - ER

Shifts are from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 3 days per week, every other weekend, with holidays required. No on-call duties.

Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs are equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages. They are trained in dealing with trauma requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal candidates must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions, prioritizing their injuries and medical needs accordingly.

• Must have at least one full year of ED experience, preferably as a returning traveler.
• ED experience within the past six months is required.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certified.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• CEU Contact Stroke - 4 hours.
