REGISTERED NURSE - NEURO ICU STEPDOWN & TELEMETRY - PER DIEM DAYS

JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute – Jersey Shore University Medical Center – Neptune City, New Jersey

Lead nursing care for neuro ICU stepdown and telemetry patients on a per diem day shift at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.

• Deliver patient care according to up-to-date evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care.
• Communicate patient status, care, and treatment plans to patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Document patient assessments and care plans electronically at point of care.
• Provide patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transition of care.

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Telemetry certification preferred.
• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within three (3) years of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and focus on teamwork and patient care.

Minimum rate of $42.19 hourly (subject to difference based on experience, education, and market data).
