About the Hospital:
72 beds
3-4 units open at any time
Combination of adult and adolescent patients, must float as needed
Freestanding psych facility- no security
Codes are responded to by staff
De-escalations and restraints are handled by staff if necessary.
Requires 3 years of current psych hospital experience.
CPI Preferred- if not, will do onsite.
Orientation is 2 classroom days, 2 floor days if CPI certified
If not CPI certified, orientation is 4 classroom days, 2 floor days
1:20 Nurse to patient ratios. Sometimes will have MT help, but not always.
