American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with strong, recent home health experience and a NJ or compact RN license to provide in-home nursing care to patients discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities.
Requirements- Active NJ or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Home Health experience
- Med Surg skills required
- OASIS and Epic EMR experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Current BLS certification that does not expire within 30 days of assignment start
- Home health setting providing care to patients discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Common diagnoses include wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, ostomies, heart failure, diabetes, oncology, post-surgical, and ortho cases
- Productivity expectation of 6 visits per day or equivalent (admissions count as 2 visits)
- Required to work every 5th weekend
- Required to work every other holiday
- Deliver skilled home health nursing care to patients recently discharged from hospital or nursing facility settings
