Nurse Manager - Intensive Treatment Unit- Inpatient Psych

The Nurse Manager is the designated leader responsible for providing high-quality nursing care while ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is ideal for those who excel in leadership, interprofessional collaboration, and operational management.

• Location: Belle Mead, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Manage 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s).
• Oversee daily operations and ensure team knowledge of emergency/disaster response policies.
• Monitor nursing standards of practice and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and evaluate budgetary and financial priorities related to patient care.
• Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources and manage staffing plans.
• Demonstrate leadership by coaching and mentoring team members.
• Supervise and monitor educational programs and evidence-based practice.
• Support the Magnet Program by coordinating documentation and data collection.
• Incorporate organizational goals into standard work and participate in committee work.
• Professionally address complaints and follow up with appropriate departments.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Experience:

• 3+ years as a Registered Nurse required
• 3+ years' progressive leadership experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
