Resident Care Director – RN

The Resident Care Director serves as the clinical leader responsible for overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination within the community.

Key duties include leading and managing the nursing team, conducting resident assessments, overseeing Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and monitoring changes in resident conditions in collaboration with physicians and clinical partners.

They ensure medication management and infection control programs are effectively implemented, and lead compliance with federal, state/provincial regulations.

Additionally, they drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, recruit, train, and manage clinical staff, and oversee staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets.

Partnering with sales teams, they assess move-in appropriateness to ensure resident suitability.

Qualifications include clinical expertise as an RN, leadership skills, knowledge of regulatory standards, and experience in nursing management.
