Veterinary Technician Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead the technical team at VCA Little Falls Animal Hospital in Little Falls, NJ. Conveniently located near Routes 23, 80, and 46, our hospital offers a supportive, community‑focused work environment and accessibility for both clients and staff.

As a member of the VCA team, you will support Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low‑stress atmosphere for our clients and patients, delivering an outstanding client experience and providing exceptional care to every patient.

• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry
• Radiology
• Laboratory work
• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Compassionate care of hospitalized animals

• Directing workflow on the floor
• Assisting in the educational development of technicians and their skills
• Helping with the interview process for potential new hires
• Scheduling technicians
• Assisting in staffing and coverage where needed
• Assisting in basic protocol and standard procedure training
• Providing opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
• Mentoring technicians within the department
• Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve service
• Ensuring that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff

$27–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
